A Little Bit About Me My name is Sofia Doyle. I am currently 15 years old, and for 13 of those years I have been involved in gymnastics. I am a level 8 competitive gymnast, practicing 20+ hours a week with little time for other activities, although I enjoy painting, reading, dancing, and writing. For the most part, gymnastics has been my entire life, providing me with determination, challenges, and a passionate heart. Naturally, it is a large part of my identity, along with my family culture. I am the oldest of three siblings- Antonia, Diego, and Paloma- along with a three year old yellow lab named Ozzie. I am Filipino, Spanish, American Indian, and Irish, and have a very large family. With a strong crave for adventure, my favorite place to visit is Costa Rica. My mom lived there for a while, and is fluent in Spanish. Surrounded in such a cultural upbringing, I have grown to love my extensive family, my different ethnicities, and my perception of the world. Being an introverted thinker that just wants to be heard has brought me challenges, but it has made me, me. I am overjoyed to be working with STEM Marin and Biotech Academy and cannot wait to see where this program takes me.
